Finn Class of 2026

Where are you from?
I’m from Kodiak, Alaska, a small island off the southern coast of Alaska.

How did you first hear about the Academy?
I found the Academy while searching for schools around the Indianapolis area with high academic standards.

What made you decide to apply?
The college prep aspect and ability to take college classes made me decide to apply.

What is your greatest memory about your time at the Academy?
My greatest memory at the Academy is probably having fun at the After Prom event of my sophomore year, which was such a stress reliever going into finals.

What are some of your extracurricular activities?
I’m a varsity soccer team captain and have played soccer for 14 years, I’ve played tennis for 4 years and manage the girls’ tennis team, I’m co-president of the table tennis club at the academy, and I’m a member of the National Honor Society.

How has the Academy prepared you for life?
The Academy has prepared me for life by familiarizing myself with a college campus and dining halls, taught me how to study and manage my time effectively, how to communicate with teachers and how to set reasonable goals and meet them for myself.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to study something in engineering or business/finance, hopefully at Purdue.
