The Academy is a unique environment for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors—both inside and outside the classroom. Most of our students live in our residence hall, with 24-hour security and custodial Student Life Counselors (SLCs) on hand to keep everyone involved, encouraged, and safe. Hundreds of activities and opportunities are offered to our students throughout the school year, and living at the Academy provides a sense of community not available anywhere else.
The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is now offering a limited number of residential sophomore openings for the 2025-2026 school year!
We are currently accepting applications for a small number of residential high school sophomores, in addition to our non-residential sophomore class openings. Priority for sophomore residential space may be given to applicants based upon distance.
Mr. Fetters on Service and Wellness
Mr. Bridger Fetters, Associate Director of Residential Affairs, explains the community service, Academy service, and wellness opportunities available to Academy students.

I was craving an environment where everyone had goals they wanted to achieve. I liked that I would be around like minded peers who had big goals and dreams just like mine.
