Where are you from?
I am from Indianapolis, Indiana.

How did you first hear about the Academy?
My mother received information about the Academy from a co-worker at her job.

What made you decide to apply?
I always strive to become a better person and I wanted to have a better educational experience.

What is your greatest memory about your time at the Academy?
My greatest memory at the Academy is meeting the new friends I have developed relationships with. My first group of friends at the Academy have now graduated and moved on to further their lives since graduating.

What are some of your extracurricular activities?
I am involved in the Center for Leadership Development. This organization provides a safe learning environment for youth and offers their time to benefit the lives of people in attendance.

How has the Academy prepared you for life?
The Academy has prepared me for life because it has taught me the value of time management. Toward the beginning of my time here, I struggled with staying on top of assignments, not studying efficiently and a lot of other problems. Now, I complete more assignments on time and study more, prioritizing things that need to be done. This is a moral that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

What are your plans after graduation?
I desire to study and major in business as well as psychology. With the dream of helping others, I will become a therapist.

I am Roosevelt Mason III. I love helping others. I am 17 years of age. I will strive to become a therapist and/or businessman always keeping God first.
