Dawsony Borum

Dawsony is excited and eager to begin her first year here at The Indiana Academy. Dawsony was born and raised in Southfield, Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University and majored in Health Sciences with a minor in Nutrition. She recently graduated with her Bachelors in Health Sciences in May 2025. During her time at Central Michigan University she worked as a Residence Life staff member for four years, serving as the Desk Manager for three of those four years. She enjoyed being a leader and being able to influence and assist the students within and outside the residential community. This led to her developing a newfound passion for leadership and community development.

Dawsony enjoys a wide variety of different activities, such as going to the gym, playing/watching sports, reading, practicing self-care, and hanging out with family and friends. She really enjoys bonding with her little brother over sports and going to the movies. Dawsony loves stepping out of her comfort zone and not being afraid to volunteer for something new. She hopes to apply this skill to create great relationships with the students here at The Indiana Academy.
