Senior Year Opportunity

CLASS OF 2025 APPLICANTS: Make the most of your senior year at the Indiana Academy!

Apply Now!

Please note that applications submitted after the April 24 deadline are subject to a waitlist based on available spaces. While we continue to review applications submitted after these deadlines, you must apply soon to receive a decision in time to attend Summer Orientation.

Application

To be considered for one of our senior year spots, please complete this application as soon as possible! Be sure to also submit transcripts/grade reports for all completed semesters of high school.

Due to our rolling admission process – which means first-come, first serve – the sooner you complete your application, the sooner you’ll receive a decision. Applications are considered complete when we have received your online application, transcripts/grade reports, and recommendations. Recommendations are built into the online application, so there isn’t anything extra you need to do to get those to us.

Once all spaces in the class are filled, qualified students will be offered a spot on our waiting list. Students on the waiting list will be notified if a spot comes open for them. If no spots become available, the list will be closed on August 19.

Academics

Experience college-level classes in an environment that is supportive and helps you transition into a collegiate environment.

Our classes are taught by nationally ranked faculty who are passionate about their subject and about seeing you reach your dreams. All of our faculty have a minimum of a master’s degree and nine have doctorates in their subject area. Additionally, many do scholarly research and publish in national peer-reviewed journals. As an Indiana Academy student, you will benefit from their wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Our faculty offer no less than 10 office hours each week where students can connect with them to ask questions, seek help, get guidance, and more. Plus faculty may offer opportunities for outside the classroom research, as well as other learning engagements.

Your senior year class schedule will be individualized and specific to your graduation needs and interests.

If you have any questions, contact us at or by telephone at 800-316-3163 ext. 1 / 765-285-3470.

Earn College Credit

Get a head start on college by taking our dual credit classes – and save money too! The Indiana Academy currently offers 150 dual college credit hours in almost 40 courses! Taught by our Indiana Academy instructors, these dual credit courses with Ball State University* mean that upon graduation from the Indiana Academy you will have an official Ball State transcript that will transfer to any college or university that accepts credit from Ball State.

* A few of our dual credit courses earn credit from Ivy Tech instead.

Graduation Rates and Scholarships

With over 4,000 alumni, Indiana Academy graduates have attended top colleges and universities throughout the state, across the country, and around the world. The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has said that 100% of our graduates are prepared and ready for college-level courses. Whether attending a small liberal arts school, an Ivy League, or something in between, Indiana Academy students do well in the scholarship search process. Each year the graduating class self-reports receiving over $10 million dollars in offers.

College-Style Living

At the Indiana Academy, students learn where to find what they need on a college campus, how to advocate for themselves, and residential students learn how to live on their own with roommate.

A unique feature of the Indiana Academy, is the College and Career Counseling Center (CCC). As an Academy student, you will work one-on-one with a member of the CCC team to decide which colleges to apply to, find scholarships, and submit college and scholarship applications.

Athletics

The Indiana Academy partners with Burris Laboratory School, also located on the Ball State campus, for athletics. We offer a great variety of IHSAA sports. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or haven’t played before, our athletics are a great way to let go of stress, get some physical activity, and form lifelong friendships with your teammates.

Clubs

The Academy offers over 50 different clubs and extracurricular activities that allow you to pursue your interests and passions. Clubs vary from year to year and are based on student interest. All clubs are student organized and must have a professional staff or faculty member to sponsor and help form the club.
