Admission to the NECP

Admission to the NECP

For the fall of 2018, 38 students were admitted to the Indiana Academy’s Nonresident Early College Program (NECP). Admission is selective and based upon previous academic records, teacher recommendations, student short-answer essays, and a standardized test taken within the last six months (SAT or PSAT).

Preview Days

Preview Days are held on designated weekdays throughout the school year. During Preview Day students and families will tour the campus, sit in on a class, and talk with our administrators, faculty, and students.

Students applying to the Indiana Academy need to take either the PSAT or SAT as part of the application process. Most Indiana high schools administer the PSAT during the fall of the student’s sophomore year. You may use that score for your application, if it meets our minimum criteria of 1,000 (ERW + Math). Students may sign-up to take the PSAT or SAT with the College Board at www.collegeboard.org.
