Remote Learning Friday, September 4

Dear Indiana Academy Students and Parents/Guardians:

The Indiana Academy and Ball State University are moving to remote learning tomorrow, Friday, September 4, 2026, because high building temperatures from geothermal cooling issues are affecting the entire university campus.

Students: All classes will be asynchronous tomorrow. Please monitor your email for instructions from your Academy instructors. If you are taking a Burris or Ball State University course, please monitor your email and Canvas for any instructions they may send you.

Parents/Guardians: Unfortunately, we must cancel tomorrow’s Limitless Learning day. We will decide on rescheduling at a later date. We know many families were looking forward to visiting tomorrow’s classes.

Residential families may pick up their students for the Labor Day Extended Weekend as scheduled tomorrow. Final decisions on athletic events tomorrow will be shared through the normal channels.
