TIER ONE
  • Single Student Handbook Policy Violations
    Examples include, but are not limited to:
    • Missed Face Check-in
    • Late for Building Curfew
    • Failed to turn in Sign-out Card upon return to the building.
  • Single Instances of Noncompliance
  • Attempts to Instigate or Incite Student Handbook Violations
  • Standard Groundings
  • Temporary Loss of Privilege
    Including, but not limited to, earlier curfew, NECP visitation rights, restriction of activities, restriction to Academy transportation
  • Restitution and/or Removal of Opportunity to Repeat Behavior
  • Mediated Conversation
  • Educational Opportunity
TIER TWO
  • Repetition or Multiple Co-Occurring Tier One Incidents
  • Severe/Elevated Single Policy Violations
    (including, but not limited to, safety violations, dangerous behavior, fire policy violations, prohibited items, violations of restricted access, falsifying records/forms, vandalism and/or misuse of school property, violation of vehicle and/or private residence policy)
  • Severe/Elevated or Multiple Instances of Noncompliance
  • Standard Groundings
  • Nonstandard Groundings
    (out of room, extended hours, multiple days, etc.)
  • Additional Academy or Community Service
  • Temporary Loss of Privileges
    Including, but not limited to, reduction of card level, prohibited from advancing card levels, earlier curfew, restriction Academy of transportation options
  • Discussion with parents/guardians
  • Non-Contact Expectation
  • Restitution and/or Removal of Opportunity to Repeat Behavior
  • Mediated Conversation
  • Educational Opportunity
  • Behavior Contract
TIER THREE
  • Repetition or Multiple Co-Occurring Tier Two Incidents
  • Violation of Bullying/Harassment/Bias Policies
  • Age-Based or Low-Level Illegal Activities
    (Vaping, Marijuana, Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Minor Theft, Shoplifting, Minor Vandalism, etc.)
  • Behavior Dangerous to Others
  • Violation of Behavior Contract
  • Additional Academy or Community Service
  • Restitution and/or Removal of Opportunity to Repeat Behavior
  • Temporary or Permanent Loss of Privileges
  • Parent Contact/Involvement
  • Non-Contact Expectation
