Justine Izah ’16
Justine was recently awarded a Davidson Fellows Scholarship. The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, and Outside the Box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception. Justine is currently attending Indiana University.
Josh Fryback ’00
Out of Josh Fryback’s 10 years with Skanska, the last year has been especially busy: he went from being USA Civil’s Midwest controller to be the first chief of staff for Civil CEO Mike Cobelli in New York. Now, he’s back in Evansville as Civil’s Midwest chief financial officer. Josh has a BS in Business from IU and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Notre Dame. Read some of what has shaped him.

Keely Chaisson ’06
Keely is the Director of Curriculum Development at Vault Prep in Los Angeles, California. Keely designs and curates curricula/program materials to make the jobs of their directors and tutors easier, allowing improvement on and expansion of the services offered to their students.

Jonathon is a Software Engineer at Disney ABC Television Group in Burbank, California. His background is in Computer Science, native mobile (Android and iOS) development, and modern web applications.
Jessica Andres ’10
Jessica is a Registered Nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a B.S. in Nursing from Xavier University (OH).
Chael Hall ’92
Technical Program Manager at Google in the Greater Seattle Area. Chael is currently managing a large software project across multiple Google Product Areas, developing automation to ease management of compute resources, and participating in team management. Chael received his BS in Computer Science from Ball State University.
Steven Longenecker ’05
Steven is a Managing Editor at Stansberry Research in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. He manages two franchises in the Stansberry Research family of investment advisory services, encompassing six distinctive subscription newsletters. Steven holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Psychology from Purdue University.
Kathryn (Rulon) Mancini, ’08
Kathryn is a Doctoral Candidate at Miami University of Ohio and is a Neuropsychology Intern at the Lindner Center of HOPE in Mason, Ohio. Kathryn graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology and Gender Studies from Northwestern University.
Derek Sprunger ’09
Derek is a Strategy and Operations Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in the Greater Chicago Area. He is a management consultant in strategy & operations focused on using advanced analytics in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations for clients in consumer products, food and beverage, retail, and distribution. Derek received a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Indiana University.
Alexander Radnovich ’95
Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine in the Indianapolis, Indiana Area. As a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry, he divides time between clinical work, research, and teaching. He is an attending psychiatrist at LaRue D. Carter Memorial Hospital (LCH). His research interest is in psychopathology and psychopharmacology of psychosis, and he serves as an investigator in the IU Psychotic Disorders Program. Alexander received his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine and has a B.A. from Wabash College.
Deana L. Johnson ’08
Deana is an HR Generalist at TIC, The Industrial Company, near Houston, Texas. Deana is responsible for Human Resources and Training for the Petra Nova Carbon Capture Project. Deana has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management and International Business from Kettering University.
Charles (Chico) Marks ’92
Charles is the Maintenance Manager at Subaru of Indiana Automotive Lafayette, Indiana Area. Chico received a B.S. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and an M.S. in Industrial Technology from Purdue University.
Angie Ordway ’95
Angie is a Staff Attorney at the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission in the Indianapolis, Indiana Area. Angie has her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Columbia University.
Marc Brooks ’94
Marc is a Principal Cyber Researcher at MITRE in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. His specialties insider threat analysis, insider threat program development, IT research and development, customer engagement, project management, data mining, information security, insider threat, machine learning, and data analysis. Marc has Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Mason University, an M.B.A. from Smith Business School at the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Computer Science from Amherst College.
Marshall Hopkins ’12
Academy alumnus Marshall Hopkins (Class of 2012) returned on March 9th to discuss his Notre Dame experiences with current students. Marshall is majoring in business and biology and is in the High School Ambassadors Program at Notre Dame. He has spent time observing medical procedures and has met Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Marshall says his Academy education prepared him to be successful at Notre Dame and beyond. He was very excited to return.
Mytilli Bala ’01
After the Academy, Mytilli went to the University of Chicago for college, worked in consulting for a year, and attended Yale Law School. She graduated from YLS in 2009 and spent four years in commercial litigation. In 2013, she accepted a two-year fellowship from Yale. Mytilli is currently a Robert L. Bernstein International Human Rights Fellow at the Center for Justice and Accountability, a San Francisco non-profit dedicated to using impact litigation to hold perpetrators accountable. She is trying to figure out the next steps after her fellowship ends but hopes to stay in this field. In 2009, Mytilli married her college sweetheart. They are the proud parents of a very chubby kitty.

Callie Smith ’96
Callie is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and serves as associate director of the Lilly Endowment Clergy Renewal Programs at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.

Vanessa is an Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences at the University of New Mexico.
Jenni Zartman (Van Scoy-Cornett) ’01
Jenni teaches high school Spanish in Rochester, Indiana. She earned her master’s degree in educational administration in December 2013 from Ball State. She is waiting on an admin position to open in Rochester. Jenni married a man from her class at her home school last year, and they are about to have our first baby (it’s a boy!). They live on Nyona Lake with their three dogs, and work on the family farm. Jenni’ husband is also an engineer and network systems technician at a utilities company.
Laura Fern Ansley ’14
Laura is majoring in Linguistics at Purdue University. Caleb Honegger, Class of 2014, is majoring in Computer Graphics Technology also at Purdue, and they are engaged! They plan to get married in the summer of 2016. This summer they are going to Spain and maybe a few other countries close to it. Laura has been trying to teach herself Spanish, in addition to taking German and Norwegian classes.
