Prom 2022: Victorian Gothic

Prom will be held on May 7, 2022 from 7–11 p.m. and our theme is Victorian Gothic. The venue this year is the Cornerstone Center for the Arts.

After Prom will be held from 11 p.m.–2 a.m. at the Northwest YMCA in Muncie. There will be activities, games, food, and more. More information will be sent out by the Indiana Academy Parents Organization (IAPO).

Travel Forms

If your student is attending Prom, they must have a Travel Form on file. Please fill out this form and submit it to the Indiana Academy front desk by Monday, April 25. Please note that this year, the Travel Form may be faxed, mailed, scanned and emailed, or dropped off at the Indiana Academy front desk in person. All forms received or altered after April 25 that cannot be verified or confirmed will NOT be enacted and will revert to previous permission. If no previous permission has been received and verified, the student’s Prom plans will revert to Academy Transportation only.

Is Your Student Bringing a Non-Academy Guest to Prom?

If a student wishes to bring a guest from another school, this Guest Permission Form will need to be filled out and sent in by Monday, April 25. Please note that this form may be faxed, mailed, scanned and emailed, or dropped off at the Indiana Academy front desk in person.

Tickets

Prom and After Prom tickets will be sold in Burkhardt Lounge during March, April, and May. The ticket sale dates are listed below. Prom tickets cost $35 for a single, $60 for a pair. We accept cash and checks made out to the Indiana Academy for Prom tickets. After Prom tickets cost $10 per person. After Prom accepts cash and checks made out to IAPO. Please pay for Prom and After Prom tickets separately.

Here are the dates and times for ticket sales:

  • Sunday, March 27 from 11:00–11:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 31 from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 3 from 11:00–11:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 7 from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 11 from 7:00–9:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 18 from 7:00–9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 24 from 11:00–11:45 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 1 from 8:00–10:00 p.m.

After Prom Waivers for Inflatables

All students and guests attending After Prom are required to have a waiver filled out for each of them to use the inflatables. The inflatables are being rented from the company “A-1 For Fun.” Please fill out this form and submit to the Indiana Academy front desk by Monday, April 25.

Parents! Want to volunteer?

We would appreciate any help with chaperoning, tear down, or donations! Please fill out this Volunteer Form and submit it to the Indiana Academy front desk by Monday, April 25. This form may be faxed, mailed, scanned and emailed, or dropped off in person at the Indiana Academy front desk. Please note that there are sections for Prom and After Prom on the form.
